….I have asked Nicky for advice and support on numerous occasions and despite her busy schedule she has always made time for me, proving useful and practical advice on how best to support our members in dealing with their visible difference…..in the voluntary sector, it is easy to be enthusiastic about developing projects without the benefit of evidence. In her approachable and good humoured way, Nicky brings a rigour to these initiatives and ensures they can be properly evaluated….Nicky has made real and dramatic improvements to the lives of people affected by a wide variety of conditions. She has achieved this by always being available for discussion and debate, giving her time freely and providing a warm and receptive sounding board. Rosanna Preston, CEO Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA)
